The Lac du Der, a real inland sea

The largest artificial lake in Europe, Lac du Der is an exceptional natural site with many sport and cultural events, most of them free. More than 250 km of marked trails will offer you unforgettable walk or bike rides. You will have fun with tree climbing, windsurfing or paddle boarding. You can admire the flight of tens of thousands of common cranes and all the local fauna. You can also lay down on the sand bech in summer, as if you were at the sea!

Have fun at Giffaumont casino and enjoy one of many excellent restaurants  in the area. Le Der is the flagship of Champagne tourism, a site not to be missed!
